Pick-up
3 things your customer needs to present at the rental counter:
- Driver's Licence
- Credit Card
- Voucher (if provided)
Sign the Rental Agreement
Includes full terms and conditions and outlines any additional costs to be paid locally.
Drop-off
Return the car on time
Time agreed when the booking is confirmed. Avis daily rates are worked out on a 24 hour basis.
Check for damages
If the vehicle is damaged then the excess amount will be charged to the customer's credit card.
Check for fuel
If the fuel tank is not completely full when it's returned a re-fuelling charge will apply unless full tank pre-purchase was arranged.
Payment
Optional cover, services, fuel, excess and local taxes will be charged to the customer credit card. Cash can be used if the office is open. Statement sent to the customer's address.
Returning to an airport location?
Return the car at least one hour before check-in time.
